A/b Toolbar Pagerank, I still see some troubles itself, at least this latest update May 28. In April I created 6 subdomains of 1 site at the same time with content auto updated and each links to 2 other sites. Of course they have the same backlinks and have few visitors a day. But they have various pageranks, from 0-2.
Anyway, to me, Content is the King and only real human visitors are wanted and welcomed.</description>
